Mom, I Can Dress Myself

Lindamerry Udell earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in metallurgy and currently works in Watercolor, Encaustic, Eco Dyeing and Pottery for the past 12 years.  She facilitates the Chippewa Valley Watercolor Artists, and is involved in establishing art exhibits as well as jurying and judging.

Artist’s Statement:

Energy ebbs and flow within all of us. What bubbles to the surface is laced with texture and nuances that reveal our true selves.  Nature is my inspiration, and colors and textures drive my ongoing learning. The play of light and shadow, and the myriad of colors seen in nature at different times of the day and year are influential in my color mixes. Techniques that allow paint to flow and blend in order to capture an atmospheric essence is an ultimate goal.
