Anders Shafer - The Generous French Master

Camile Corot (1796-1875) was known to have signed paintings for other less famous artist so they could charge more-therefore was known as the "generous French master". In my fictional story, he is approached by a poor nomadic man for help because his daughter is ill. Corot gives him the painting he is working on so he can get a doctor's services. Years later Corot returns to the scene and finds the girl dancing.
