Jamie is an abstract painter whose interest and inspiration lie in the process of the pictures he creates. Often, he paints with a particular living space in mind and choose colors and design elements to fit the space and décor, regardless of whether the space actually exists or is purely imaginary. He commonly uses wood panels, paints, plaster, mesh and polyurethane finishes to create his pieces and sometimes even uses ash materials. Texture and vivid colors are hallmarks of his paintings.
